Tarot Themes for the Week of August 7, 2016

DSCN1326The reflected card themes is not by any means a traditional reading. Instead, it is more of a meditative or reflective journey that utilizes tarot as a means indicating what needs to be considered and our thoughts, attitudes, and actions are likely to be reflected when looking at each card for the upcoming week ahead. This reading is not merely a personal one. I hope that you will enjoy the journey along with me…

Beginning of the Week (Sunday – early Wednesday)
The focus point is reflected in the drawing of the Page of Cups.

We are told…
Some of us may soon be hearing about the birth of a child, wedding plans, an engagement, or other happy emotional news. We are entering a period of new feelings and attitudes, a time of emotional rebirth. Some may renew an emotional bond or begin a new relationship. In any case, this is a new phase of emotional growth that requires learning to trust all over again. Those of us starting a new job, are likely to find that it may involve careful attention to emotional issues. Children could also be of influence and importance during this time.

Midweek (mid Wednesday – early Friday)
The focus is relative to the drawing of the Four of Cups.

We are told…
At midweek, we find ourselves withdrawing into ourselves because of some form of discontent in some area of our lives. There is a sense of boredom and that the party is over. Everything seems stale and unsatisfying. This is a time of needed reassessment. This card also cautions us that we may not be seeing the good that surrounds us. We tend to reject help that is offered. Feelings of depression and confusion about our situation is common. The advice of this card is not to rush ahead and make any snap decisions. This is a time to meditate and contemplate before proceeding.

Weekend (mid Friday – early Sunday)
The focus is on the Eight of Wands.

We are told…
In time for the weekend, we find ourselves getting the green light. All systems are go. We move rapidly toward achieving our goals. The stagnation and so forth of midweek are ended. Favorable messages, invitations, and fresh opportunities are plentiful and forthcoming. We find that our experiences serve to broaden our minds. This is a card indicating sudden travel and basic getting out and about. Enjoy!

Be blessed.
