Tarot Themes for the Week of July 3, 2016

DSCN1317The reflected card themes is not by any means a traditional reading. Instead, it is more of a meditative or reflective journey that utilizes tarot as a means indicating what needs to be considered and our thoughts, attitudes, and actions are likely to be reflected when looking at each card for the upcoming week ahead. This reading is not merely a personal one. I hope that you will enjoy the journey along with me…

Beginning of the Week (Sunday – early Wednesday)
The focus point is reflected in the drawing of the Six of Wands.

We are told…
This is a victory card symbolizing achievement, recognition, compliments, success, accomplishment, and well-deserved accolades after we’ve performed a great deal of hard work. This card informs us that we are all able to overcome any obstacle if we work at it. It also serves as a reminder to each of us to hang in there. Times are tough, but we will get through it and come out on the winning end if we do not give up the struggle.

Midweek (mid Wednesday – early Friday)
The focus is relative to the drawing of the Tower.

We are told…
The Tower card is representative of a shocking revelation or an event in our lives that forever alters the way we see ourselves and the people around us. This is not necessarily a negative thing. Now that all the built-up pressure has been released from the tower, the fire inside will both cleanse and transform it. Shocking secrets are uncovered; we may take a blow to our egos, but we will survive the fall. Change is coming, and it’s going to be dramatic. The spiritual blocks or obstacles we have faced are now gone. What we learn will end up being helpful in the long run.

Weekend (mid Friday – early Sunday)
The focus is on the Hermit.

We are told…
This card is about taking purposeful time off, standing alone, and looking within. This is a sign that we need to take some downtime for ourselves and regroup. This is the time for vision questing, reflection, intuition, meditation, and self-development. It’s time to work our magick solitarily for a bit, even if some of us are coven members. We need to trust ourselves and our gut hunches, and take personal time to see where this all leads us. The Hermit tells us to allow our magick to light the way, no matter what challenges we find ourselves facing right now.

Be blessed.
